Guys, I'll skip the part about how I've grown up with Anathema's music and how many years I've been a fan of them, etc., because I would like to warn them and you too about a concert in this tour.
It's about the Sofia gig (Sofia, Bulgaria) and I'm very sorry to write it down (because I've been to the Duncan Patterson & Mick Moss gig and the two gigs Danny did in Sofia, so I'd really love to see them here) but the promoter their management's chosen, namely "New Music Agency", s*cks BIG TIME!
This is one fiasco company which has ruined many great concerts (if they did actually happen...). Their most recent "achievement" is the rescheduled gig of Paradise Lost & Samael in Sofia. You can check Samael's official
page to see that Samael canceled their show yesterday (two days before the gig!!) because the NMA promoter hadn't sent them plane tickets. Not to mention that the big booking companies do not sell NMA-tickets, hard to figure out why.
Please, guys, if you can contact the band, warn them not to do business with these f-ers and if you have the chance, tell your friend musicians to also avoid this pseudo-promoter, "New Music Agency".
There is a Katatonia gig scheduled for April in Sofia (once again, with NMA behind it) and I'm tearing myself between the rational choice not to waste my money on it and the desire to see this band. There are so many other promoters here that make perfect concerts (I don't even wanna start listing the gigs, just too many), why on earth it had to be this one...
P.S. I am also open to suggestions where can I write to Katatonia to warn them too.
